Who Is This?
My name is Michael. I’m currently an Identity Engineer, an adjunct professor teaching IT, and a lifelong nerd. This site is where I share the technical lessons, tools, and ideas that have shaped my career, helped me solve real problems, or simply sparked my curiosity. If it’s been useful to me, there’s a good chance it might be useful to someone else too.
While Identity & Access Management is the niche I’ve grown to love, my background spans a wide range of IT disciplines. Expect career-focused topics like automation (mostly PowerShell), Windows Server and Linux administration, and cloud engineering, along with the occasional dive into home automation and homelabbing.
Why Am I Doing This?
I won’t pretend this site isn’t partly a portfolio. (Hello to any recruiters who made it this far.)
But the real reason I’m committed to maintaining it is simple: I want to help others learn. It’s the same motivation that pushes me to teach in my free time. Holding on to what I learn and keeping it from colleagues doesn’t benefit anyone, myself included. We all have something worth sharing; this site is my way of doing that.
